We use an emergency clinic in Bromsgrove from 6pm until 8am Saturdays and Sunday and from 11pm until 8.00am on weekdays.

The important thing when you have an emergency is to listen very carefully to the answering

machine and write down which number you will have to ring to arrange to have your animal

seen.

For clients that are not registered with McGettigan's Veterinary Surgery:
If you are NOT a client of McGettigan's Veterinary Surgery you must contact your normal vet and use their out of hours provider.
A growing number of veterinary practices are using out of hours providers that are 30 minutes or more away from the practice. If this is the scenario you find yourself in you must still contact your out of hours veterinary surgeon FIRST.
Under no circumstance due to safety regulations can we do a house visit to a client who is not registered with us. If you do decide that it is a very urgent emergency (under advice from your out of hours vet) then we will see clients at the practice that are not registered with us. However we will expect payment at the time, you must register with us the next day and we will expect to see you for your yearly boosters!
